Oktay Veliev leads the U.S. Corporate ABS Surveillance team in Moody’s Ratings’ Structured Finance Group. The team monitors diverse sectors like aviation, digital infrastructure, equipment, intellectual property, small business, transportation, whole business and more. He previously held other senior roles in Moody’s U.S. CLO and Structured Credit group, where he focused on CLOs, TruPS, structured notes and other structured credit asset classes, and spearheaded several methodology development initiatives.

Before Moody’s, Oktay was an investment analyst at Altfest Personal Wealth Management, specializing in corporate and municipal credit. He holds an MBA from Pace University and is a CFA Charterholder.
